Burcin Yorulmaz has taken a three-peat at Merrimac FC’s presentation night for 2013.

The striker was impressive in the last third of the season, finishing with a total goal tally of 10 goals. Yorulmaz’s clinical finishing gave Merrimac every chance of reaching the top 4, which eventually fell through towards the latter stages of the season. “It’s an honour to win one award, let alone three. If you told me at the start of the season that this would be happening to me, I wouldn’t have believed it even in my dreams,” said Yorulmaz shortly after the presentation. Yorulmaz is the first player in Merrimac history to take out the Golden Boot, Players Player and Player of the Year award.
